Found a fantastic resource, quotesondesign.com, with inspirational, quirky, and fun quotes related to art and design. They even have a token Gary Busey-ism related to creativity: "Your imagination is the hood ornament on the car of creativity."
Keith Haring 1978-1982
Checked out the Keith Haring exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. I have never seen any of his earlier work that he had first developed while studying at SVA in the late 70s/early 80s. Cut up collages, performance/video art, systematic drawings and ciphers...its a retrospective of the very work that constructed the foundation behind his his iconic visual language of abstracted shapes and sexually driven characters. I was inspired and compelled to re-ignite the creative fire within.

Magnum Pleasure Hunt
To promote the introduction of Magnum Chocolate desserts to the US, Lowe + Partners developed Magnum Pleasure Hunt, an interactive (advertisement) game that tracks a model catching chocolate drops all over the webscape, jumping through e-commerce sites, youtube videos, car ads. Very addictive and fun!

The Daily (iPad App)
The Daily is my new favorite iPad app! I was hooked just from the Interactive Panoramas alone. I'm also impressed with the clean and sophisticated layout design, use of handy information graphics, interactive adverts, the breaking conventional width and height boundaries.
It's refreshing to see people push technological boundaries of traditional media communications!
