This guy created a blog, postsecret.com where ppl send in postcard secrets...last year someone in my interface design class thought of the same thing...but in a more abstract designy conceptual way. Anyways some of the postcards are very crafty and funny.

So I entered this Lily Allen contest held by the wonderful blog popbytes.com, re-wrote the lyrics to Lily's song "Take what you take" to express my all around love of all things Lily Allen. And I won. I guess people really like me after all. See kids, it pays to go to graduate school. Stay in school.

Bruised Teddy Bear Zoo

"This is the day"

Thanks to the new M&Ms commercial where ppl look like m&ms...I got a blast from the past reminder of The The's "This is the day" which to me has great significance as the greatest final scene in a movie, Empire Records (randomness...I wrote a final paper on Empire Records in my Intro to Film class like 4 years ago, how I could get away with writing a paper about Empire Records still boggles my mind). Anyways it go me thinking that if anyone wants a cool song to add to their wedding music mix, you should definitely include "This is the day" and dance like Mark and Gina (old school Ethan Embry before his crazy Paul Giamatti makeover, and before Renée Zellweger got all hoitie toitie).
